Dr Marcella Meneguello is an Educator and Researcher committed to actively bridging the gap between academic knowledge and the real world driving meaningful social change. Drawing upon over two decades of interdisciplinary experience and grounded in a biopsychosocial approach, she explores the complexities of human conditions, focusing on promoting diversity and inclusion, enhancing mental health, and improving wellbeing through creative activities and physical exercise across the lifespan.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Passionate about education and empowerment through knowledge, Marcella has devoted a significant portion of her career to educating students from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Employing a dialogical and student-centred approach, she promotes and advocates for quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. Currently, she is a lecturer in the Community Services Bachelor’s Course at Torrens University Australia, where she also coordinates Diversity & Inclusion and Mental Health subjects.

Dr Meneguello, as a researcher, employs the power of Photovoice and visual storytelling—methods that resonate deeply with her vocational passions—to educate, amplify minority voices, foster critical consciousness, and promote diversity and inclusion. As a member of the Social Justice Research Network (SJRN) and the Centre for Healthy Sustainable Development (CHSD), her studies delve into the cultural adaptation experiences of Brazilian and Latin American migrants in South Australia.

Driven by a commitment to promote social impact, she leverages her expertise as a consultant with the Social Enterprise Hub (SEH). Currently, she is involved in a Visual Storytelling project with Torrens Students and First Nations Entrepreneurs, fostering cross-cultural understanding and empowering entrepreneurial narratives.
