My passion lies in using portraiture and photodocumentary to reveal the uniqueness I find in each person I meet, and telling the compelling stories I listen to or experience.

I use Photovoice and participatory visual storytelling to guide and educate groups to promote awareness, lead to positive change, and create meaningful social impact.

I’m Marcella Meneguello, a Brazilian photographer based in peaceful West Beach, South Australia. My passion lies in capturing the profound beauty in everyday life and exploring the complexities of the human condition. Through my lens, I strive to create portraits and photo documentaries that reveal the uniqueness of each human being I have the honour to photograph.

Beyond my photographic work, I use my background as a lecturer and researcher to lead Photovoice and Participatory Visual Storytelling initiatives. I believe that in this way, I can guide people and groups to promote education and awareness on important topics to drive positive change and create meaningful social impact.
