Photovoice

A group of people with something meaningful to share — and photographs taken from their lived experiences. That’s Photovoice.

It’s a creative method that brings real-life stories into focus, sparks important conversations, and amplifies the voices that are so often overlooked.

I facilitate* Photovoice with groups and communities whose stories deserve to be seen and heard. My approach blends my work as a professional photographer with the perspectives I’ve gained through multidisciplinary experience in health, ageing, diversity, and exercise science.

This combination opens space for creative and impactful processes — fostering learning, encouraging reflection, and inspiring transformative change. As I like to say:

“A photo alone may not tell a thousand words —
but it invites us to listen beyond them.”

I invite you to learn more about Photovoice and witness these stories unfold—scroll down and explore.

* In this method, I don’t make the pictures! I facilitate sessions where the participants will take photos from themselves.
